SP Vishwesh Karpe visited the residence of Samuel Braganza on Saturday to record statements from the family members. However, as no one was present at the house, he had to return without recording the statements.

Meanwhile, the All India Lawyers Union, Goa Unit, has demanded a CBI inquiry into the death of Samuel Braganza. The organisation stated that police cannot fairly investigate fellow police personnel and raised concerns over the credibility of an internal inquiry into the case.
