BJP national president Nitin Nabin, while addressing party workers in Taleigao, accused the Congress of being responsible for major financial scams during its tenure in the state.

He pointed to the ₹35,000-crore mining scam and the JICA fund scam as examples of alleged corruption under the Congress government.

Nabin alleged that these scams had caused significant losses to Goa and said the Congress party had a history of corruption at both the state and national levels. “Congress means corruption,” he said, reiterating the BJP’s stand against alleged financial irregularities.
