As Goa faces the effects of the El Nino climate pattern, resulting in severe heatwaves, droughts, and rain scarcity, CM Pramod Sawant has advised borewell users in the state to conserve water. He further stated that the W.R.D. (Water Resources Department) will be issuing new guidelines to ensure that groundwater tables are not affected.
Urging the need to recharge groundwater levels, CM Sawant has appealed to citizens to be cautious about water wastage when using borehole supplies.
